University Purpose/Mission for this Shelby Project

   The University wishes to optimize the financial value of this well located, large real estate tract through highest and best use real estate development. The University of Louisville Research Development Company, LLC. is responsible for the development of this property and this solicitation is to select private developers to lease land from the U of L Research Development Company, LLC and to contract with it to build, market and manage the mixed use buildings which are intended to occupy the available parcels in the tract.  It is important to note that the mixed-use objective is only restricted by a University commitment to limit retail on the site to project population-serving.”
